Welcome to Lelund Durond Acting Studio! Our primary objective is to guide actors in fully immersing themselves in the imaginary circumstances, just as they would in their real lives. We provide students with the tools and techniques necessary to excel in analyzing scripts specifically tailored for plays, television, and film productions.

 

One of the key aspects we'll focus on is deciphering what lies both within and beyond the lines of a script. It's crucial to understand not only the explicit dialogue but also the subtext and underlying emotions that drive a scene. By honing this skill, actors will be able to delve into the depths of their characters and bring them to life.

Actors will learn how to craft dynamic performances by breaking down their characters' objectives into actionable steps. This process enables the actors to navigate their scenes with purpose and authenticity, capturing the attention of the audience and creating compelling moments.

We recognize the increasing prevalence of self-taped auditions in the industry, and as such, we will dedicate time to mastering the self-tape process. From technical considerations such as lighting, sound, and framing to delivering a captivating performance through a camera lens, actors will gain the necessary skills to stand out in this digital audition format.
